It's ok, he won't have any expenditure except some monopoly money, and he doesn't really have the car.1

I have booked my car at a more reputable independent garage for tomorrow. There are no local Porsche specialists near me and I would rather not take it to the Porsche main dealer.
I have noticed some other issues. The AC does not blow cold, when I turn right full lock there is sometimes a grinding/scraping noise coming from the front driver side wheel. The seller has blocked me and after seeking some legal advice from family and friends, I don't have much chance of getting anything out of the seller as it was a private sale and I don't personally want to go through the hassle.
I am now thinking it might be best for me to sell this car on. We Buy Any Car has only offered me £38k for the car.0 -

I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

If this car actually exists (highly unlikely but very entertaining to read!), WBAC will no doubt amend their valuation when they view it and realise it’s got cheapo Noddy tyres fitted!0

Does the figure given by WBAC take into account the EML?
You will have enough money to buy a very nice car for daily use.0 -

Amazing they're able to look at the car at such short notice and even doing it on a Sunday.

On the unlikely assumption that the thread is real it should be no surprise that you're in for up to £10k - either to get it running as it should (inc some proper tyres) or as an expensive loss to get rid of it. Is the £10k worth it to tick the box and say you've owned one ?
There are Porsche specialists all over the place willing to help and talking to a main dealer on that age of car might not be as bad as you think. When I bought mine I paid for main dealer service and they did a thorough inspection/report letting me decide whether to take out the (very comprehensive) Porsche Warranty. Given their report I didn't and I've had no issues in nearly 2 years.
