Just to clarify... that letter isn't from an Ombudsman.
It looks like it's from an investigator at the Financial Ombudsman Service. So it's the opinion of the investigator.
As it says at the bottom of the letter, if you didn't agree with the investigator's opinion - you had until 23rd March 2023 to ask an Ombudsman to consider the case. I guess you didn't do that.
(FWIW, maybe it's a bit mean to say this now, but I was involved in a recent case where a FOS investigator rejected a complaint, but then the Ombudsman considered it and partially accepted the complaint. But it's probably too late for that now.)

when was that "last moment"? i guess it was before exchange?Izwiz121 said:In December 2021 we bought a house together ... However at the last moment Santander informed us that we would be unable to port the mortgage. So we were forced to redeem the mortgage at a cost of £10,000
so you were not really "forced" to redeem. you could have dropped the purchase and if you decided to exchange on the property, you needed to redeem.

the above letter is dated March 2023.
you had 7 days to submit any further evidence.
Now 7 months later you ask what you can do on top?
i think time to move on.0
