Hi Kirsty,
welcome to the boards. I've only been here a few months, and already it feels like home!
Picking up on the taking-pics-of-new home suggestions - DEFINITELY!! And also the garden if you have one. When I moved into my flat four years ago the garden was shoulder height with weeds and thistles. I cleared the lot, found the lawn, have made veg beds and tidied. Then the letting agent had the nerve, when I have ten demi-johns on my lawn this Winter, to point out that my contract requires that I keep the garden "tidy"!!!!! I wrote them a stroppy letter, bluffing that I have video tape showing the state of the garden when I moved in, and that I have actually made the garden! I wish I had pics, in case of strife from them later on!
Anyway, I know you'll enjoy this place, your posts so far show that you're well on the way to Old Style already!
happy new home!0 -

Hi Kirsty and welcome. Enjoy your new life together. My advise is not money saving, but as a long time married old biddy I would say always make sure that you talk to each other. And good luck with the baby plans.0

:hello: Kirsty and Steve (and I do mean AND Steve - make him come on here and learn some tips as well! If you have a baby he'll need to make you a promise jar for treats when you come out of hospital; learn to cook lovely, nutricious meals on his own; get washing tips for when he puts a red sock in with the whites etc etc :rotfl: )Mink0 -

REALLY looking forward to chatting with you all!
Hi, Kirsty. Missed this thread first time around. Hope the move went smoothly and you are both settling in to your new home!
