I'n with Sky and want to switch to NOW, but NOW won't let me why?

My Sky contract finished ( now £138 ) and we really just want broadband and Sky Sport. Thought I'd save by getting NOW broadband and a monthly NOW Sport subscription. But Now say I can't its not available at my address I have to go with Sky!
But on all search engines for my postcode it shows as available, when I go to sign up I get told its not possible. I tried a neighbours address and could go all the way through to checkout.
Why can't I switch from Sky to Now? very frustrating as where I live only BT and SKY are options no Virgin etc, although a new company has just dug up all the roads and put proper cable/ fibre in outside all houses, but just broadband no tv options. I have Sky Q and frustrated that Sky Stream is being offered at silly low price, but I have to pay a fortune to stick with SkyQ.
What can I do ? thanks for any advice

Talk to sky & negotiate a new deal.

    All these companies will.

Now are part of Sky, so maybe they will not migrate people from Sky to them.

Odd my friend switched from sky to now, no issues.  Best advice is to call Sky on 0333 759 4451 follow option to cancel all services and see what they can offer you.  My friend got broadband for £25 last week which is not too much more than now and you’ll probably get offered sky sports signature and cinema for £43.  My mate got it slightly cheaper but that was initial offer.  If you aren’t happy with the price they offer then put cancellation notice in
  • I had a friend who wanted to move BB from Sky to Now, some years ago.  All set up, go live date sorted then an email from Now saying sorry can't be done, oh and by the way you no longer have access to your landline number.

    She wasn't best pleased.
