Private Parking fine - Appeal Process

Hi I am looking for some assistance please with my appeal against a parking fine. I purchased a ticket but have been fined for taking too long to puchase the ticket. This is even thought 5 minutes is not long enough and the machine I was using rejected my coins so I had to go back to the car to get different coins to try it again. I have managed to get my response delayed till 23/10/23 but must submit my appeal to the court by then
Many Thanks

It isn't an appeal and isn't a fine
Let's get that straight2 -
Err... can you expand on what you mean by "appeal to the court"?Tracey2701 said:Hi I am looking for some assistance please with my appeal against a parking fine. As already explained above, you have not been "fined". Have you received a claim from the CNBC?1 -
Hi I have received a claim form from the CNBC and I want to appeal.0

No. You want to defend, so just use the Template Defence. That's why it's at the top of the forum.
What is the issue date of the Claim Form?
What's the date that MCOL says you did the AOS?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Which parking firm? Which solicitors are representing them?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I am going to assume that means that you have filed an Acknowledgment of Service some time after 22nd September and before 10th October.
Please confirm that, or correct me if I am wrong.
You are in a very time critical situation here. With a Claim Issue Date of 19th September, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 23rd October 2023 to file your Defence.
That's just a few days away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.0 -
Strange. It's pinned there at the top as one of the Announcement threads to read first. Look again. We won't link it. That never helps.Tracey2701 said:

Explained already in the NEWBIES thread which is also pinned at the top of the parking forum.
