I have been on broadband contract with them since 2020, twice renewing at 18 months per time, £24 per month - a promotional rate.
My price has not increased.
I'm trying to renew the contract for another 18 months, they've finally agreed, but they're now saying my price will rise by 3.9%+Jan RPI, each April.
If this is the case I might move to one of the city fibre operators who are offering me a whooping 900mb/s for what I pay now, with no mid contract price rises.
So is it now the case that all bills will go up, including those on promo rates.
thanks

Some companies offer deals where the price will not be increased during the term of the contract so in answer to your question - no.
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0 -
The majority of ISPs have built-in RPI + X.X% rises
I am with TalkTalk and they offered a fixed price for 24 months with a slight premium over the normal (discounted) loyalty price (subject to RPI + 3.7%) and due to inflation I am going to win.

thanks both, do virgin negotiate on the rpi increases?0
