eSIM providers in the UK -- does Tesco and Sky support it?
Hi folks, recently I moved my phone (SIM only) contract to 3 mobile and they made a royal mess of things; I've been unable to use my number for 4 days now. Since I'm in the 14 day grace period, I would like to get out ASAP and move to a good provider.
One of the reasons I used 3Mobile was because they provided an eSIM. I can see some good deals online for Tesco mobile and Sky mobile but was not very sure whether they offer eSIM.
One of the reason I zeroed in on these providers was because Tesco uses O2 but also provides EU roaming which is pretty good.
If these don't work I plan to move to Vodafone but just thought I would ask here before making the decision, thank you!

i don't think those operators do eSIMS - it seems to be mainly the big direct operators, not the ones that piggy-back (except Virgin). My information is a few months old though, and don't understand the reasons why all operators don't do eSIM2

Lyca mobile do esim. I have one. They also do EU roaming.0

In answer to your question - nope, neither Tesco Mobile or Sky Mobile support eSIM.
As things stand, the only providers that do support eSIM are; the main network operators (EE, O2, Three, Vodafone) along with LycaMobile and Spusu (both of these run on EE) and a couple of niche providers.

Since September, not Google phones.how about that, learn something new every day.
No shock Sky Mobile aren't supporting Pixels thoughsome things never change. Although not supporting the Samsung Galaxy S22 either stands out like a sore thumb.

https://www.tescomobile.com/help/device-help/esimThey are available, as i said, just not publicised, I know people who have them. The customer has to ask for one as they wont be offered without a direct request. Easiest method is in Tesco Mobile shops.====0
