Transfer out from Virgin ISA

I seem to remember various people having difficulties transferring an ISA from Virgin because the provider should be given as Yorkshire/Clydesdale/Northern Rock/???, even if the ISA was opened after their merger with Virgin. Apparently it depends on the sort code used by Virgin. Does anybody know for sure which provider should be specified for sort code 82-61-37, please?

The link below suggests: VIRGIN MONEY (09 CLYDESDALE BANK)

Does this apply to new accounts post merger.
I had an old Yorkshire bank account - now a Virgin one - but it started with an 05 sort code? I also have an ISA starting 05?
Am I therefore Clydesdale for transfers - or Virgin or Yorkshire?0 -
My ISA was 82 and it was Clydesdale for transfersIf you want to be rich, never, ever have kids0

I also have an ISA starting 05?
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6411387/no-account-found-isa-transfer-issueI've just arranged a transfer from my Virgin Exclusive Isa, and I found this on the Virgin websiteWe’d be sorry to see you go but if you want to transfer your ISA to another provider, they’ll ask you to complete an ISA Transfer Authority Form. They’ll then contact us to arrange the transfer.
Please refer to the sort codes below before selecting your existing provider on the Authority Form.
For Sort codes starting with 05 please choose Yorkshire Bank.
For Sort codes starting with 82 please choose Clydesdale Bank.

Thanks for the replies. As Xylophone's quotes the Virgin web site (well done for finding this!), it would appear to be definitive.1

Just thought I would report: I requested the transfer online yesterday, in the evening, using Clydesdale Bank as the current provider. At about 2:30 this afternoon I had an email from Skipton to say the money had been received and the transfer was complete!2
