I used to have TalkTalk (AOL) and I had a terribile service as well and I live in a city, I contacted TalkTalk every couple of weeks to complain about their slow and patchy service, but they didnt care - all they cared about was me paying my monthly bill, after my contract ended and I was leaving was the only time they cared and offered me a large discount to stay, I still left and went with a better supplier, once your contract has ended is the best time to approch TalkTalk to discuss a discount
