Is it worth to shift some rbs OD over to another account which would mean 25% rather than 39%.
Without knowing all the facts about both accounts we can't be completely certain, but all being equal shifting your debt from somehere that costs 39%, to one that costs 25% does sound a good idea.

That all said, what exact fund or funds have you chosen in NAT West?
I've went off topic with OD queries, though thanks.
though I totally missed extent of 2 yrs inflation via my standard groceries shopping!

    Natwest/Rbs...

    PERSONAL PORTFOLIO BALANCED FUND

Medium Risk – Share Class 3 Accumulation

I'll avoid posting inclusive stocks, though certainly much more 'Balanced'

    International Bonds.       36.7%

    International Equities.   36.6%

    UK Equities                     18.0%

    UK Corporate Bonds.     6.3%

    Other                              2.4%

Sipp t/fer in progress, though kind of similar 'Balanced' choice.

Going forward I believe NWI choice of 'Balanced'' Funds could out perform my previous HL Isa.
    No way a direct comparison.
An ISA is just a wrapper. Excluding fees, a balanced fund will perform exactly the same in a Natwest ISA as in HL.

Surley Stocks held within Funds Performances vary.
Slight off topic again, though hl Sipp passed to NatWest today.
I understand I have small values across Isa+|Sipp though ive been very fortunate with lightning fast transfer of both.

    thanks

I think what he's meaning is that a given fund will perform the same held on any platform. And picking up on the fees point, the Nat West fund mentioned will be held back by its 0.40% ongoing charge, compared for example to the HSBC equivalent at 0.17%.

Yes that's what I meant. An ISA doesn't perform well or badly as it's just a wrapper. It's what you invest the money inside the ISA into that makes the difference and you could have exactly the same funds in one with 2 different providers which will do exactly the same thing excluding charges. With charges included, the lower charge ISA wrapper will give a better return.

    To be fair to reply's
I was considering some potential performance change as NW Isa is their chosen funds/stocks.
wheres my gone hl isa was my personal choice of funds, including hl managed/non hl managed as such.
Ive no ide how NWI could perform, for my own enjoyment HL Isa was sold I think .89% down.
Separate Sipp via HL was sold almost 6% down, this was mainly due to my attempts at 2 ETF'S.
Energy was last <25% as was RNO -<25/26%
those ETF'S can regain in 5% increments, though I'll leave ETF interest with NWI as some isa funds do have small percentage made up from their chosen ETF's

NWI Isa-+2.01% -only for recent opening fun, whilst checking Sipp t/fer status-not arrived yet.
    thanks

Sipp has arrived via hl to nwi....
    opening day fun -0.08%
Instant relief as no longer awaiting net zero and ishare energy ETF returns from 2050's and beyond.

thanks mser's I've been genuinely lucky with transfers of both savings types and hopefully added some pro knowledge beyond what I'm learning by reading and podcasts.

If the problem on HL was choice of funds, why didn't you just change them (or it)? Rather than switching to a restricted platform that only offers expensive funds.

Changing Funds always has been available, the Expensive remarks from experienced mser's
I suspect maybe more of a concern if Investing greater sums.
I've chosen to 'Simplify' my Investments and thus can Avoid checking Individual Funds far too often.

thanks mser's looking forward to hopefully leaving Isa+Sipp with NWI.
p.s. Why am I not convinced NW could Invoke 'sweeping'  Powers until I reduce OD, particularly if times get tougher for u.k.

If you're concerned that NatWest could use your investments to offset your overdraft, then the obvious question is why would you choose to use the same institution for both?
