Pension credit, care home, probate problem!

Sorry to jump on but do you remember how long it took to sort this with the dwp? I'm in a similar situation and sent all relevant documents off to the dwp 4 weeks ago. 

I just spoke to DWP Debt Management. They told me that they are working on bank statements that were received in August 2023.

I sent my late mother's statements beginning of Nov 2023. They told me it'd be February 2024 at the earliest before they'd be looked at.
