  • Oh my days! this is literally me right now trying to cancel as they didnt inform my Dad that his contract was due to end, so he's now paying £58 as opposed to £22. I've been trying to do this since last Sunday. Absolute nightmare.

They don't do anything fast. It's taken me 4 hours over 5 calls to renew my package and sort out the issues with it

In all fairness, I get an email each month from Virgin to tell me that a new bill is ready. It also tells me I have a "discount applied that will end on xx November 2023" - So a regular reminder that my contract is due to end.

Also had a couple of emails urging me to renew, but failed to include the cost of said renewal - Snotty complaint filed pointing out that the relevant information was missing, so I could not make an informed choice.... Used the opportunity to tell them that I would be cancelling. Got a reply back saying my new price would be £34 (up by £6), but failed to acknowledge cancellation.

Her courage will change the world.

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.

If they offered a years free broadband now, I would still refuse based on their dire customer service.
