Big font for payments etc, tiny font for the small print, not easy to find the £100 or £60 in there, not prominent, easily missed0
-
Yep. Not prominent enough £100. Remember, we see ECP signs all the time.
Don't try to reinvent the wheel. We know what we are doing and ALWAYS attack the lack of prominence of important terms.
You now have an hour to email that signed WS and exhibits which you may have to merge and compress into a single PDF to make it OK to email. Concentrate now only on the email.

EDIT.
All a bit frantic ... trying to get people to leave me alone about work ... yesterday I thought I was on top of this but oh no.
Before you read further ... thank you so far
Email to court 4.01, forward to QDR 4.03. Will either complain?
I went to the court 20 mins after and QDR have requested the fee be paid, BUT the Secretary at the court says they don't process payments after 3.30pm. Presume that they have filed their WS (and my copy is in the post).
Why haven't I received a WS yet? Do they post recorded delivery before the deadline?
Also didn't have time to get a real signature on my WS and had only time to type my name (not print and sign and scan). Is it not admissible because of this?
My main Q therefore is do I re-submit ... LATE ... a wet signed WS?0 -
It's all fine. Not sure what you've been reading but you don't need a wet signature.
QDR can't object to your 2 minutes late, given their WS hasn't arrived at all so will be v late.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

And so where my Notice of Allocation says 4pm on the 1st May is the deadline for my WS to the court and the other party - they get the same?Coupon-mad said:It's all fine. Not sure what you've been reading but you don't need a wet signature.
QDR can't object to your 2 minutes late, given their WS hasn't arrived at all so will be v late.
And the instruction says if that deadline is not met my statement will be struck out and judgement given to the C.
Also you are confirming that I can/should do nothing further with my WS given that I only typed my name at the statement of truth. Like today I can scan my signature and resubmit...?
Some of this is hard to follow ...eg some docs when late give the opportunity for the C to ask for the case to be struck out yet some don't.

Same deadline for both parties
You could sign a piece of white paper using black ink, take a picture or a scan of it, add it to your WS or costs assessment and resubmit to both parties today, read the advice plus the Umkomaas link in this thread

A lot of leeway can happen in the small claims system, dont expect absolutes, but do try your best to follow the procedures, whilst its ALWAYS a good Idea to highlight opposition failures and errors, including procedural failures

If re-submitting might I amend it? - in haste I missed out one image.0 -
I would, especially as you have not received theirs
If the topic came up, your excuse would be that one exhibit was missing plus it should have been signed, so you decided that it was better to resubmit it with the corrections included, for clarity and to assist the court too1 -
And that's all done, with a sprinkling of apologies, with reference to my current domestic nightmares, and registering the fact I haven't received anything from the C.Gr1pr said:I would, especially as you have not received theirs

Oh dear, I would not have done that. I did say do nothing else.
By doing that and actively drawing attention to your failings and lateness, you've kind of opened the door for QDR to get away with a late submission themselves tomorrow, which I now predict.Surely the Notice of Allocation doesn't only set deadlines for you. It will state what both parties had to do and by when.
You should have left it at yesterday's submission and let them be days late.
Now you are both seen to be 'days late' and you've made it obvious. Hopefully the Judge will see their lateness as worse.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
