There are two options: I am DVLA keeper or Keeper (not DVLA), which?Coupon-mad said:
Of course you put your name & address in. They already have it! You are just responding.jrs101 said:Coupon-mad said:
As advised - just use the Template appeal and DO NOT use the words "I was not there" nor anything about "I" or "me" because Horizon ones are dead easy to win, as long as you appeal as keeper. Not driver.jrs101 said:1505grandad said:"I got a PCN letter in a supermarket car park saying I was there for over 3 hours (photo of entering and exiting) which is not true."
Just checking - why is it not true - were two visits made, perhaps by two different drivers?
I was not there for the period they claim. For sanity their "portal" is asking for many personal details, which I dont wish to submit, on the appeal page which appears needing input. There are 8 options for "representation reason" - which is to be selected?Thank you.
Obviously just tick a box that doesn't say "I".
Yes to "Is it your name on the vehicle's V5C (logbook)?"

HelloIve been tiold the PCN will be cancelled. Is this a concern? Is this standard?
"Please note that once the Parking Charge Notice is cancelled the contact details are removed from the Parking Charge Notice and will not be retained for any purpose or shared with third parties. We are, however, required to retain images and appeal correspondence for a period of 2 years by DVLA and the BPA and are not therefore able to delete these from our system. You can review our privacy policy at https://horizonparking.co.uk/privacy-policy/ or you can request that a copy is sent to you in the post by contacting us at the address below, if you have any queries regarding your data."

It's well covered in the new incoming statutory Code of Practice the DLUHC is bringing in. They define that a period of parking is not the time between two in/out photos and they specifically use the phrase 'double dip' that I gave them, which covers a situation where the car made two trips.jrs101 said:Coupon-mad said:That's good news and all OK.Its outragious that an alledged entry/exit could be manipulated this that way.Where in the big picture is this going in getting Parliament and ridding, what appears to be, a money making scheme?
I have personally been all over this since 2020 and never missed even a single Government meeting. Don't worry. There's not much the Code misses and even those bits have been spotted and raised.
And it is coming soon to overcome the Judicial Reviews that delayed it in early 2022.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
