Props to iD Mobile for dealing with signal issues
I switched to iD Mobile from EE recently, not only because of price but also because EE reception in my new home was quite poor, and the Three reception with iD seemed a bit better, though not as good as Vodafone which my wife uses (we always use different networks, so we don't find ourselves both losing signal in the same location).
Two weeks in, the connectivity with iD started getting worse and worse. Not losing bars, but having the phone showing 2, 3 or 4 (full) bars of 4G or 5G signal, but not being able to get online at all. As I was still waiting for our fibre broadband installation, I was completely relying on my mobile to get online, so this was a bother.
I got on the chat with iD Mobile's customer service, and they logged a complaint ticket for me. Two days later I noticed my phone was getting online properly at home again, and it seems to have improved a lot in the last 3 days. I'm not sure what they did with the complaint, but thought I'd say a good word about their customer service
(Note: if you work for or are familiar with mobile networks and have an idea what they might have done technically on the network side, do reply, I'm definitely curious to know!)

There may have been a fault with the nearest mast that serves your house and they fixed the fault. Sounds like a good result.
the "bar" display on a phone is not very meaningful. When I lost my providers signal once, it still showed several bars from another networks signal which I could not use (except for an emergency call)0
