Just wanted to add my best wishes to everyone, another on here who would be lost without my friends on here, there is always someone here to chat with. I think we all need to give ourselves a pat on the back for the sterling work we do all year in our homes, and in the manic weeks in the rush up to Christmas.
Hope you all have a frabulous Christmas :xmastree: :xmassign: :snow_grin :snow_laug :xmassmile :rudolf: :santa2: , I will be raising a glass of something expensive and bubbly to you all on the big day xx

Thanks so much for starting this thread Kippers. In my many years on the web, I have come across and contributed to many forums, but have yet to see one as friendly, non judgemental (sometimes just mental:rotfl: ) and helpful
Best wishes to all. May this Christmas and 2008 be the best ever.A friend is someone who overlooks your broken fence and admires the flowers in your garden.0 -

I too would like to say a big THANK YOU - I've learned so much from you all, made some lovely friends, and reading the threads always makes me feel better on a bad day!
Happy Christmas to you all! :beer:0 -
Can I echo everything that has already been said and add that thanks to the advice from the people on this board particularly, you have helped one little family enormously.
This time last year my husband (all 6 foot 2 of him) was being bullied and hounded by his boss - to such an extent that he had developed a heart problem through the stress. Thanks to all of you, we were able to work out how to live on one salary whilst Mr T set up a new business and worked out how to earn money in a combination of part time jobs.
We have gone from over £83000 per year joint income to just over half, and do you know what, we have never been financially, emotionally or professionally happier. We have not been overdrawn in months and we eat so much better than ever in our lives!!
So a very merry Christmas to you all, you will never know just how much your recipes and advice have helped us!
Have a great time and take care not to overwork!!
Tilly
xxThanks to this fantastic site and it's amazing people, we have paid over £63, 000 off - just over half way!!!:T THANK YOU:T0
