Really need advice because I have no clue and the online reviews aren't great for the product I'm looking at.
I'm in a rural area so buying is either from Argos or I have to wait and do a 50+ round trip as nowhere else does tablets in the area and I'm not good at buying online.

I have a Kindle fire 7 prob,  bought second hand for £25 and does all I need but I can no longer access my hotmail account. It's being blocked by Amazon in some way.

I use it to listen to podcasts, radio, forums read and answer on a couple of sites, YouTube and Solitair.........and check my emails for any changes to activities I do and such.

The only one I can see under £100 that isn't a Kindle is the Alcatel 1T 7inch
The reviews aren't great and speed seems to be one thing. Would it be enough to listen to the things I've listed above?
I don't need any apps. Can they be removed to free up space? I use the net and full sites when browsing.
Would it be fast enough for iplayer for instance should I be confined to bed.....have a trapped nerve that can ground me sometimes.

Grateful for people who know what they are talking about when it comes to the enormous choice of gadges and usage.

I would start by making sure the Hotmail app on your Kindle Fire is up to date.

If necessary delete the app and reinstall from scratch.

If you aren't currently using the app then it would be worthwhile installing it.

Alternatively the Lenovo Tab M8 at £89.99 is available at Argos.

You should be able to access your hotmail account on a Kindle Fire tablet. What app are you using to access it?

I was just using a favourite or bookmark link/shortcut icon.
I've deleted it but any link to hotmail, outlook, Microsoft is declared a danger. No option to bypass which usually is an option.

I'm using the kindle without registering on Amazon. For 2yrs that's been fine.

I've been happily using it with the old blue icon then one day the colour/shape turned to Microsoft squares and inaccessible.

Might be that the easiest (and cheapest as in free) fix may be to sign up to Amazon, although I well understand the reluctance that many have to doing this.

Even a new Android tablet will make a pain of itself if you don't sign into Google when using it.

Lol, good to smile on a gloomy morning  :)

So it's also decided that Twitter is a no go site. Tend to agree but I don't use it, the warning popped up when looking at BBC news.

I eventually found a placard giving reasons. I'll post it on both threads for anyone searching.
Have to be on the laptop though so when I have time to crank it up.

Really annoying as the utilities have decided to bill me through email so I have to keep logging in on that specially to check for bills. Working on that.
