Barclays Blue Rewards - Closure

I have no idea which person at Barclay's thought removing the monetary incentive and adding AppleTV was going to be a positive thing. This has lost Barclays a net positive customer, all my savings moved elsewhere. GG Barclays, shoot yourself in the foot there guys. On the bright side, I will be earning more interest now, I was just lazy.

No......as I say, I'm being singled out for special treatment. I have selected manage accounts, then close accounts, then Blue Rewards and it then says I cant close it online. Options are phone, letter or visit branch. Luckily I have another option up my sleeve which is do nothing, let them sort it out. In a week's time I wont have a Barclays current account as it'll already be switched. 

I'm in the same boat, closed rainy day and saver accounts, went to close the main blue rewards, and there's no option other than the three listed above, call, branch or letter.

I'll just wait till they charge me, then raise a complaint as it says it can be canceled online, and it obviously can't. Should net me a £50-£100 compo payment. /shrug
