When we had some decent furniture to give away, there was one chap who seemed to be a fantasist. He asked loads of detailed questions, and made detailed arrangements to pick it up, but never showed.
When we had something else to give away, exactly the same chap surfaced, with the same modus operandi.
In short, you need to have a plan B, eg a garage to store the stuff, or someone whom you pay to take it away.
Plan B is the builders emptying the place from Monday, so it will all be gone. Shame as these are perfectly decent solid wood doors. I may store the range cooker in case anyone genuinely wants it.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. how much are you asking for it?
I gave away some kitchen units this year and even giving away stuff seems to attract scammers on FB marketplace. I had people messaging me weeks later asking to collect, and when I told them they had gone they were upset and wanted compensation for me messing them about!
