Alcove Carcass – Glue or not Glue?

Tobesuretobesure.
Or, in other words, why not?
It will be stronger - tho' I agree that ain't needed - but since it won't negatively affect anything else in the future - you won't ever want to dismantle the individual 'boxes' again - then why not?
If you rely only on the screws, and the boxes get slightly shaken sideways - parallelogrammed - during installation tweaks, which they will to some extent, then the chances of movement in the actual joints are increased.
Nothing to lose sleep over.
Ok, a Q for you: why not glue them?

Two reasons not to glue them.
- Flexibility when nipping everything up. Though, if glued, maybe there will still be some flexibility? I don't know?!
- If I do ever need to dismantle (maybe I need to route a hole somewhere, or whatever), I won't be able to (when glued up).

Cool - in that case do not glue
