SIM only not so competitive - swapping to new SIM only deal w SAME PROVIDER
Hi everyone!
So I'm currently with Lebara SIM only which was a good deal but now it's a year old, it's reverted to full price which is not as competitive as the new MSE blagged (C) deal from Lebara which is being advertised. Can I switch to this new SIM only MSE deal with Lebara and if so, when's the best time to do this as it renews monthly last day of the month, so I've effectively just paid for October I think, now?
Any help re this would be greatly appreciated! TIA.

To get the mse deal you will need to give lebara a new email address and they will send you a new sim with a new number. To keep your existing number you will need to port out and then back, so you will probably want to allow a week's overlap. If you turn off autorenew it doesn't matter if your port doesn't happen before your renewal date.1

I find the cheapest SIM only deals on the MSE Weekly email a waste of time. They always involve a low start price for say 6 months or so and then the price hikes up a lot. Where does that leave you after 12 months? ... on a much higher monthly cost to continue or the hassle of changing again. Is it really worth mucking about?0

i signed up with ID mobile on the 27th march for a 50gb deal so i'm 13 days into a 12month contract. i have now just seen on mse a new 108gb deal for £1 more with ID mobile. should i cancel my 50gb deal under the 14 day cancellation option and sign up to the new 108gb deal which ends on friday 11th april at midnight.
would that mean porting to new mobile operator then signing back to ID mobile. would i be able to do that in that timeframe and what would the best way to do it if possible?0 -
