Alert of Hellofresh scam

  • Thank you for all your advice and for sharing your experiences. I received a new card from Lloyds. So far, no further payments have been deducted, and I haven't heard from HelloFresh. I'm sharing this to alert others who might be in a similar situation and to raise awareness about a potential scam or fraud. While I'm not entirely certain about the correct definition of this issue, I wanted to highlight it for others who may have experienced something similar.

TBH, you won't unless account is in your name. GDPR etc
    Life in the slow lane
  • I had the same thing happen to me too. Unexpected Hello Fresh transactions (7 in September, all small-ish) on a Lloyds credit card like the others here. They were set up as CPA so the fraud dept's initial cancellation of the card didn't work, the payments just transferred across to the new card. 2nd time round they were able to stop the CPA (and other legitimate ones, annoyingly) via a separate process with Mastercard.

Seems like more than a coincidence it is 3 out of 3 on Lloyds cards.
