Promised compensation for delayed flights November 2022

Hello, not sure if anyone can help, in November 2022 I was promised compensation for delayed flights in June 2022 but up to now the airline keeps telling me that they will pay this when they can. Despite me keep chasing them time and time again via their portal, still nothing. Has anyone any suggestions how I escalate this.

You don't mention who the airline is, but if they're a UK one, or at least one with a UK presence, then you can perhaps take them to court here.  Did you buy the tickets directly from the airline or via an agent?

Thanks for responding. We.bought the tickets direct from the airline and they are not UK based. Just frustrated that they promise to pay but nothing has happened.

Perhaps actually naming the airline might allow others to provide suggestions…..

I am reluctant to mention the airline just yet but I will email them again to give them a chance to confirm a payment prior to naming them. I will update you if I hear from them. Thank you for your interest.
