  • You still shouldn't have phoned them, a letter by snail mail telling them you only want communication at your home address by snail mail  would have been enough.
    If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.

    You need to get your credit records (free). Https://experian.co.uk/consumer/statutory-report.html

    And check which debts have actually got defaults listed against them. Until that happens creditors can add interest and fees. 
    If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

    All of my accounts, including Zopa, are showing as defaulted on my credit report on both Clearscore and Credit Karma. I have requested from Experian to triple check. Zopa defaulted in January 2024.

    Is there a template you can use to email/write to companies to tell them to remove telephone contact details and only email or write to you?

    I have seen people mention this before, but can't find anything.
