Im on week 3 and love it so far. App is good, I love the goals set and his bluntness. It puts alot of people off but I need it. Only downside is you commit to 12 months. But plan is working well so far for me.MeandO said:Let me know how you get on with TeamRH, Sarahwithlove, I'm considering that for some motivation now that I've had to give up my fitness club membership. x*Dad loan - £5300 - £7000

Payslips went up today, was more then I expected in the back pay. Very handy as I've had to order a new to me mobile phone as mine is having issues with charging port and battery is dying. Very annoying but I've ordered a newer version thats ex display so still in Very good condition but without hefty price tag. The rest of the back pay is going into savings.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7000

Its been a while. Still doing alot of overtime which is keeping me very busy. But also helping with the budget.
October was a very expensive month, lots of football, including a weekend away in leceister. I also went and saw mamma mia at theatre and enjoyed alot of meals out. Treated myself to some clothes, haircut and massages. Also had to visit the dentist and get some antibiotics. Wow now I write it down I realise how much I spent in October.
November is looking quieter, 2 weekends without football helps. Catching up with some friends and family but with low cost options. Do have to do some visits at work so may have to make the petrol budget stretch a bit further.
I've started on the Christmas shopping, not many to buy for this year as agreed with some friends to not exchange gifts this year.
I'm saving up odd change here and there by rounding up payments, transferring interest etc and when I get to £20 I make an overpayment on my sofa loan. First payment has been made already.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7000

Nice to see you back. Some months seem destined to be expensive! I like accruing the roundups too - it feels like free money.1

Morning all. Early start for me as it's office day. Didn't sleep very well though, so today is going to be fueled by caffeine. Ive had 2 cups of coffee and now drinking a can of monster all before I've left the house. I need to resist buying myself a 2nd coffee in the office this afternoon. Fortunately my work friend who I usually go down to coffee shop with isn't in office today.
I got confirmation yesterday of my Nationwide account switch, don't think I'll get the switching bonus though as pretty sure it wasn't that long ago I had one. But I wanted the 5% interest for first 12 months, regular saver rate and of course the fairer payments.
I transferred my separate account that had 2 direct debit rather than my monzo as want to keep monzo for day to day spending. But the savings pots are just going down and down in interest so decided I'd rather put thay money elsewhere and track my savings pots manually on my budget spreadsheet.
I have alot of work miles planned the next couple of months so need to work out how i want to fund the extra petrol. My plan is to use my usual petrol pot until runs out then put it on my monzo credit card. It can then be cleared with my mileage claim or overtime.
Looks like overtime will be ongoing for a bit longer been asked to take on more clients. We have a new person starting next week and then another which we don't have a start date yet. But they will take several months to train up and the waiting list just keeps growing. So I'm guessing all time we have room in budget up to April then I can keep doing it. I aim to do 3 or 4 hours a week, sometimes more, sometimes less but about 15 a month so all helps with the savings.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7000
