  • Me again. So I have set up a s/o to round my mortgage payment to nearest £100, so only an extra £20 a month but calculator says it will save me £6k interest and knock off 2 years. Hoping when my mortgage renewal comes round it will go down slightly so bigger Overpayment. I'm also going to try and increase Overpayment by another £50 a month in future but need to wait and see what budget is like after annual bills increase.

  • I think that’s the key, finding what works for you. I have a couple of little pots, but not got pots for everything. I’m thinking about giving that a go. It sounds like you’ve got a really good handle on things. And you’ve got a good EF too.

Hope your long drive on Boxing Day goes ok and have a lovely Christmas x

Thanks. I started with only a few pots which I had merged but it just wasn't working. So hoping more pots will help.

Happy Christmas to you as well

Yes luckily i have time to make a decision because even if i wait another year or two I'm not committing to being here permanently.

I had to stop the jabs as I had too bad side effects, but they were good whilst they lasted. I'm down almost 2st so just need to keep going.

You've done the hard bit with the weight.  The next hard bit is keeping it going & not giving up or giving in.  Looking at it from an MSE perspective you have got to keep going or that money for the jabs will be wasted & we can't have that!

How long were you on them for?  What were the side effects?

Yes though still have a lot more to go. My hope is that if I start feeling better I can get into walking at beach again. Then plan is to go back to gym long term.
