I have previously used the MSE website to identify best deals including broadband, with great success. As we are now 'Out of contract' - and incidentally our address is now eligible for Fibre to the Premises fast broadband, I have been looking into the best deals available using the website. However, When I have tried attractive offers from both Vodafone and Shell, when I click the link to take up the offer, I get redirected to the company sites and given a few options - all of which are significantly more expensive than those on the MSE website. Any comments?

Is it just those two? If not do you have any browser extensions such as Ad-blockers interfering with the redirect?0

Has the exchange that you are attached to for your current service ,been designated "fibre priority" ?
You can check on BT Broadband (btwholesale.com)0 -
I have rechecked the website this morning and the MSE link suggests I should be able to get the "Fibre 2" deal at £23 gross (£20.92 after voucher added), but when I get to the Vodafone site, it indicates the cost is £25 with no indication of any voucher.

I find this all the time. There are usually very few options open. I have spent a very frustrating few hours yesterday and today trying to sign up to Vodafone. After putting all my bank details in I just getting a 'Ooops!' message, suggesting I try again or phone to speak with someone. A number of suggestions were offered, none of which worked and always with the assurance that the sales team could help out. True, probably, but at an increased price and without any of the incentives, adding up to £3+/month. One 'helpful' guy suggested that I could get back £3 per month by taking out their mobile contract....costing over £7 per month more than my present provider!!! One is tempted to believe that these so called incentives are often scams. I have tried using different sites and finally have been told that I can't get broadband at my address!!! I think I've been black marked!
