Off we go to the DCB Legal discontinuation thread. Well done @hharry100. 👍
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

    Brilliant thread!

Not only is the defence in this case the exemplar for defending claims where the POC are woeful, but all's well that ends well and newbies with DCB Legal cases can also see what happens in the end.

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

Please help and advice. I have now received a court date set for August 2024 unless the case is struck out for non-payment by the claimant. Please how do I prepare for the face to face hearing. Should I just used the earlier defence sent when I was acknowledging the civil claim?

More background details needed - on your own new thread please. Tagging random cases to another person's thread will lead to confusion. More help when we know some more please.

    No.

Remember the NEWBIES FAQS thread doesn't just stop at defence stage...

You really need to read the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES and the template defence thread sticky Announcement, then start your own thread. On that thread you will need to tell us who the claimant and solicitors are, what you have done so far (Plan A, appeals etcetera), and what you put in your defence.
