Am I able to save a whole thread to read later? I used to be able to convert a thread to a printable document. Has this function now disappeared?

  • Just print in your browser.  I've just quickly tried this in Firefox and it just shows your post on the first page.
You'll just have to be careful it doesn't include all the padding/gummings/stuff that appears on the other pages - ie at this point it shows three pages, one of which is your post the rest is the wrapping.

I currently have Chrome or Safari. I've tried to print to pdf in both browsers on sizeable threads and it only shows a pdf of the page I'm currently on. For example, for a thread with 100+ pages I can't generate a printable file of ALL the comments on ALL the pages, like we used to be able to. On the old forum there was a link to create a printable page with all comments in the thread. That's what I'm after.
  • Just an update, thought that maybe AutoPagerize chrome plug in might help but surprisingly does not work on this site.

For a thread with one page Print from the browser will do the job subject to what I wrote in the first place.

I would question as to why you would really want to keep all 100 pages of a specific thread as its almost certain the bulk of it would be irrelevant to you or not worth keeping.  It may be better to copy and paste the various chunks into a separate document that are relevant and keep that instead.
