I have recently inherited some money from my father.
When opening an ISA for my 18 year son who has special needs , will the bank / BS allow funds to be paid from my account or does it have to from my sons current account ?
Just want to miminse transfers

ISA managers should normally accept subscriptions as belonging to the account owner without challenge, but check the T&Cs.The safest option is to transfer from his current account, but they would normally just bounce back a payment they weren't willing to accept so that you could redirect it.1
