External wall paint texture

I want to paint the outside of our house myself to save money. The walls aren’t pebble dashed but there is a texture, maybe textured paint. We have around the windows re plastered after having them replaced so I need to somehow match the texture around the window area to the rest of the house but I am stomped as to how 😫 some walls have less texture than others but mostly like the attached picture. Has anyone got any idea? I did try putting a bit of sand in the paint but it’s too small a grain.
thank you in advance

It looks like Tyrolean. It's normally put on with a flicker gun, but for small areas you can dip a brush into the mix and flick it on.
Make your own mix with 3/1 sand/cement quite wet.0
