On GEUK (Now 100Green). SVT seems good, or am I missing something?

Perfect case for going big on solar and the money better spent than paying a premium to GEUK.
Unless you all are up all night baking i cant see a reason to be on E7 What is the day/night yearly readings?0 -

In the interests of balance, most other suppliers will have similar variable tariffs (the few Green suppliers exempt from the price cap are more expensive than everyone else), although Octopus' standing charge is marginally lower than the rest.
If you do decide to switch to Octopus, make sure to get hold of a referral code which gives you and the referrer £50 credit each. And if you decided to switch to another supplier, check whether they do referral codes too.0 -
Thanks for the advice! So maybe the best option is to switch to Octopus variable, and see where we are in January. Thanks!

As far as I can see, it's better than I have now (GEUK's Sparkling Fixed) and better than Octopus etc. Here's what I have now, compared with the SVT and new Fixed they are offering. Would love to know people's thoughts on whether this is a good deal, whether I should go Fixed or SVT, and if it compares well to other providers. Thanks! As others have said, if you value 100Green's eco credentials then the SVT is slightly cheaper but the fix gives you price stability.

I am pondering it atm. Luckily I am a low user of both electricity & gas (especially when not yet in heating season).
I would probably be prepared to pay the relatively small % increase in electricity costs for the "green-ness" but the % difference to available other gas prices is quite substantial (albeit I appreciate that their requirement for purchase is all biogas derived rather than from oil drilling/petrochemicals etc.) so I suspect that I will shift.
Shame that they won't let you split supplies, it's all or nothing afaik (& other suppliers like Octopus don't offer gas only). Otherwise they have imo been a decent supplier (in terms of cs etc. better than BG, EDF)1 -
Should you be on E7 ? Again i really don't think you should be unless your wife runs the dish washer 5 times over night and sleeps all day.
It seems you were with octopus in May 2022 and worried about a £3104 bill, How you ended up with a premium green company boggles my mind!
All summer you could have been on Octopus Tracker and made very good savings.
Tomorrows Tracker prices.
