you log on to the bank you are going to keep and initiate the switch from there
it will ask you for the sort code and account number of the bank you wish to close down and switch over - it will happen in about 7 days1 -
It depends on the bank, but often in the app or when you have logged into online banking there is an option to switch, sometimes its hidden further down under manage account.celesp said:
I know 4 accounts with sort codes and account numbers, There is only one I don't know now and I am trying to find through emails etc.km1500 said:the best way is to initiate a switch for each account that will take care of transferring anything in the account and closing it down at the same time
How would I go about doing the switch, I looked on the website but I have only seen that when I have moved to a new bank?
