This week due to the air accident at Turin, the airport was closed so I assume it's not the airlines fault. My flight was diverted to a different airport over 5 hours away and is showing to have flown, but I was not informed of any changes.
I was booked on a flight 2 days later, but have accumulate several expenses.
It is a dilemma. Who should I claim my expenses from. Airline or Travel insurance??

There is a piece of the story missing on how we go from a closed airport and divert to being on a plane 2 days later.
What are the "expenses"?0 -
You will need to give more details. So were you a no show and the flight along with other passengers departed without you on board, be it to a different airport?
Or were you informed the flight had been delayed or cancelled due to the airport being closed and then something changed and the flight departed without you being notified by the same channel of information?
More likely is the airline if they cancelled the flight. If you were considered a no show then I wouldn't have thought you can claim from anyone.0
