We are cancelling Sky Q.
Does anyone have Freesat with a Sky dish? Is it easy to set up? I understand we have to have a 4K Freesat box to work with our Sky Q satellite dish

The key part is the LNB, the microphone type thing that "looks" at the dish.If its wideband (which it probably will be) it'll be fine for Freesat. There's a possibility you may have a hybrid LNB, but its more likely to be wideband.Whichever one you have it'll be fine.Remember you need to send SkyQ hardware back.1 -
When I had Sky Q installed, they installed an hybrid LNB, so a standard non-sky box (or regular Freesat box) could also be used.0

super easy for us. just unplugged the sky q box and plugged the cables into the freesat box. Never looked back since tbh.0
