Hi
Can someone please guide me on my rights for a return flight from UK to UAE on Saudi airlines, They have changed my Jeddah layover from 4 hours to almost 26 hours for return leg journey Dubai -> Jeddah -> London.
As a results of that I will be laying over in Jeddah almost 26 hours instead of 4 hours as originally booked. And that delays my return date to UK almost a day late which is not acceptable.
What are my rights please. Impacted flight details below.
Original return flight
Current (new) return flight
ps : I booked directly with Saudi airlines and reached out to them after I received change notification email, their website doesn't list any options and their emails and phone support has so far failed to respond.

Looks like their JED-LGW flights change to 4 a week for the winter timetable and will not be operating on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays.
you should have the option to cancel the whole booking for refund and then you can book elsewhere. (Emirates have direct flights)
For departing on 16th there does not appear to be a shorter connection via Saudia site however if you changed departure to 15th or 17th you can avoid long transit..they should accommodate this change if you ask.0 -

A direct flight DXB to LGW on the 16th February with Emirates is currently £435, into Stansted the same day its the same price, and a little more into Heathrow, other then maybe a chunky cost saving is there a compelling reason you cant just get a refund on the original indirect itinerary and fly direct, and save faffing with a transit?0 -
