Civil Enforcement PCN at Private Hospital states incorrect reason on T&Cs

    This has gone as far as a pre-action letter now. I sent back their forms ticking the option that I deny liability based on the incorrect reason for the PCN being issued. They did reply basing their reply on the fact that I overstayed, not at all the wording of the original reason.

    Based on their dates, they've now likely started proceedings. 

    I've now done what I should have done originally which is email a complaint to Circle Health, even if they wanted to intervene, is it now too late?

    Does this have any legs for defense, should I go to court to try and defend it in any way? Or is this a lost cause now and just pay it?

    No parking cases proceeding to court are a lost cause. ALL are defendable.

    There is no point paying £170 to avoid the highly unlikely (and no big deal) possibility of paying £200ish if you lost at a hearing!
