Samsung G600 on ebay

I'm thinking of buying a cheap samsung G600 off ebay however the seller has stated the phone sometimes does not power up and mostly only works with charger, any1 know why this could be?? Sounds to me like it needs a new battery?

  • As the phone has only been out for a few months it makes you wonder why the seller hasn't got it repaired under warranty.

    Possibly water damaged.

I dont think its worth taking the risk.

The seller says he has hardly used it and its only 3 months old?
  • You can drop or water damage phones in a second.

Ask why they haven't got it fixed under warranty. Surely it would ne worth more as a fully working phone.

sounds like it has a few faults with it.

it could be water damaged and blocked/barred (so you cant make or receive calls or texts) for example.

edit: if i have found the right phone on ebay, the description looks a iffy to me

    yes it is.

im usually wary of auctions without pictures, as i got stung when i bought a k800i with k810i firmware on it. it was advertised as a k810i, but it didnt even mention that it was k800i hardware with k810i software.

i have learnt my lesson now
