Moving between terminals at Manchester Airport (MIA)

Would appreciate some advice on what the current situation is like moving between MIA terminals ?, I know there is alot of building work going on.
We have car parking booked for 8 days in terminal 2 multi story in two weeks time, but we've just noticed that our flight has been moved to terminal 1. We've tried changing our carpark booking to Terminal 1 multi-story, but it doesn't seem to be coming up as an option to book (full? no longer in use???). So considering our options :
Any advice/suggestions gratefully received.
Many thanks

We've tried changing our carpark booking to Terminal 1 multi-story, but it doesn't seem to be coming up as an option to book (full? no longer in use???). So considering our options :
- Use terminal 1 'Meet & Greet' - have never used this before so no idea how good it is or how long it takes
- Stay in terminal 1 multi story and walk to Terminal 2 - thinking that would take about 25 mins
- Stay in terminal 1 multi story and use inter terminal shuttle bus - have never used so don't know how long it takes or how reliable?
Any advice/suggestions gratefully received.
Many thanks

It's a covered walkway that goes via the train station so you won't get wet. And 25 minutes is a pessimistic time tbh, can do it in much less than that, it has travelators.
Entrance to the walkway at T2 is on departures level.
Assume your flight is either Jet2 or Etihad if they are messing terminals around for you?1 -
Last year, we walked (hand luggage, wheelie suitcases, only) from T1 to T2Can't remember how long it took, but not 25 minutes1

The bus system works well for us.1

BTW
MIA = Miami International Airport
MAN = Manchester Airport1 -
Thanks everyone - just discovered that multi story car parks can only be booked for 7 days or less so I think we’ll stick with what we have and walk between terminals.0

On the way back go outside at T1 Arrivals and you will see the walkway to your right with a set of lifts and an escalator to access it.0 -
At the top of Manchester airport main website there is a moving tickertape of news.
One topic is about this terminal change for some flights and if you click on it I believe it gives advice what to do if you have a car park pre-booked and need to change it.1
