Cancelled Sky - Any 12 month contract deals?

Put in my cancellation for Sky TV today. Broadband will follow soon when I sign up to a new provider. Going to go to Freesat/Now TV which will all work out at about half the cost of what sky offers and with no contract. What they offered me today as I was leaving wasn't low enough either.
There is a chance that we might be moving abroad in about 12 months time, nothing guaranteed, but with this in mind I'm not currently wanting to sign up to 18 or 24 month contracts, otherwise I could be stuck with exit fees.
I'm curious, do Sky offer 12 month deals, at anything close to their biggest discounts? They didn't seem to want to entertain 12 month contracts today on the chat when I said that was the maximum I'd consider atm.

You can ask but they tend only to do 18 month contracts. Now (TV) is Sky in different packaging anyway so if you can work with that and the more limited range of offerings compared to the TV option, it will work out cheaper anyway, and as you say no contract and more likely to come away with a deal...0
