Buying Currency vs ATM and fees

Hi, I was wondering if somebody could please help me work out what would be the best option to buy dollars. I have two cards which allow me to withdraw cash for no charge or fees however it seems that most ATMs in Las Vegas will charge up to $10 per withdrawal.
Would it therefore be cheaper to just buy/exchange to dollars over here? I'm going to withdraw around $500 cash.

Open a Chase bank account, transfer the money and then use a Chase cashpoint for free.
