  • £15 you say, well done mate. For that kind of money even I might be tempted to crack the back off a telly.
  • Lol! Scary, tho'.
    I can't believe the hellish design of many multiway connectors. 
    A few are decent - they'll either have an obvious latch on them that you need to press to release the plug, or a few even have levers at the sides that you swing outwards, and this 'ejects' the connector (like on RAM cards). But most have neither, and they are usually bludy tight and have lots of thin wires going to them. So, amongst all these delicate surface-mounted components, you need to get a screwdriver tip in there to prise the connector from each end in turn. One slip, and... pfffft.
    So pleased I managed to just swing the LCD panel away without disconnecting it - faaar too many ribbons on that baby.
