Cheap SIM

Hello All

I need a second UK number to operate WhatsApp on a second phone. I have been trying to do ths as cheaply as possible. Does anyone know of an operator which charges less than £5 topup to activate the number ?

I used asda mobile for months for incoming calls only without a topup before deciding to invest a fiver for credit. 

Once whatsapp is activated you can use it on WiFi without a live sim.

Plus Three. I have had a Three SIM for about 24 months now - never topped up and still works in a very old ex-work phone.  Pretty sure its on borrowed time but when it does get slashed  I will just get another on.
