Vodafone 67Mbs & small print

I gave in my Postcode in MSE broadband page, Clicked on Vodafones 67Mbs. package....had it installed, noticed very slow speeds, contacted them and they pointed out my contract, which headlined 67Mbs......but further down in the smaller print it said Max 39.8Mbs. I find this a Con....anything I can do about it?

This is normal for a fibre to the cabinet service where the last part of the connection is over the old copper phone line.
All ISPs would be the same when providing that type of service.0 -
Your post suggests you went to Shell, not Vodafone.Anyway the clue's in what you've posted - 67Mbps average speed of the user base (doesn't mean you'd get that) and your line can only support 40Mbps.1
