Cheery - it certainly will be if we can get there - let's see!
In other exciting news I have just made my first V1nted purchase - a replacement for my current pair of walking shoes - they have allegedly been worn a couple of times, but they look in near-new condition so I am seriously hoping that they are as good as they look otherwise I already know I won't use them!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

That's brilliant news about potentially being at £110,000 on the mortgage!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney4

Haha PiP - yes, not bad for a rainy Thursday eh! Jwil - fingers crossed we can do it! It’ll feel like a good boost if we can though at 6 months in.Well so far here today sunshine and showers sums it up. It’s dried up again at the moment but ai suspect we have more wet stuff to come.MSE Stuff:
- A walk first thing so free exercise which is always a bonus.
- nipped in to C0-0p to use the weekly coupons - 20p off milk and 25p off MrEH’s paper (that he has a subscriber voucher for anyway so in real terms that was 45p off the milk). Also nabbed a piece of well reduced St Agur cheese - wouldn’t usually buy it but for £1.57 I wasn’t leaving it behind!- porridge for breakfast using the last two bananas as a topping - I had a blob of peanut butter too. 😋
- quick fridge/freezer check to see what needed using up
- meal plan written, and shopping list
- nipped to Lil’s for the shopping - remembered to buy a new jar of pesto which wasn’t on my list, got sidetracked by 99p bags of Bombay Mix but resisted going off-piste for anything else.- went straight back in to nab my free bakery item - a filled muffin. afternoon treat shared between us in a bit then!- popped over to BeeandEmm while I was on that estate to check the prices of those bags of logs - they are still at £16 but they also still have a fair number left so we’ll keep our eyes on that.- brought logs in ready for a fire this evening - that will help reduce the heating costs from central heating a bit.Shopping spend this week works out to £32.91 so far I think, although I will need to try to remember to get into T’s at some stage for a Second pack of apples and my tomatoes. This will be the final shop of the month though and overall I’m pleased with where we’ve ended up. I think the surplus in the grocery fund has increased from £72 to about £120 which is decent enough.Other stuff:
- washing machine ran first thing
- airer emptied of dry stuff and new load popped on. Small window opened in our bedroom and the spare room where the airer lives rather than using the dehumidifier.- 15 minute tidy round this morning
- kitchen bin and recycling empties into the wheelies
- bird feeders refilled - it seems that the squirrels are mostly put off by the new Lil’s one in spite of theoretically being able to get their heads in, so that’s a win after all.- grate cleared out and ash pan emptied
right - I’m going to have a quick whizz round and get some more odds and ends done I think, and I reckon it’s time to close those windows as well before upstairs gets too chilly.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

A 99p bag of Bombay mix came home from Lidlees with me too and a bag of London mix which looks similar but we felt it was important to compare and contrast the two.5
