Sorry that you are having a bad time at work. It's such a shame that some colleagues/bosses/work contacts can be so difficult to get along with.
everything else sounds tickety boo,4 -
Sorry to hear about the work issues. From my personal experience, I agree that keeping a diary of unacceptable behaviours is essential, including copies of any email communication which falls within this behaviour category. It is very important because if anything does come to a head, it is amazing how the perpetrators of such behaviour can suddenly acquire an.impressive level of amnesia & find themselves utterly unable to recall a single occasion when they may have acted in a less than exemplary manner!
You can tell I've been there, can't you?

Can I add to foxgloves as well to Also note each day the work you did, compliments you received, where you helped others in your organisation
Its good for mental health and as a diary if needed with hrDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Ooh that's good added info there LaPlan - thank you, I wouldn't have thought of that! I can add that to the bottom of my existing diary noting the transgressions. Yep - Foxgloves, as soon as things started going beyond just routine work stresses I immediately started diarying stuff - I too have been there before and know how useful that can be! (Also being able to directly repeat back the words of conversation that happened several months before as an illustration of someone's poor behaviour is a game-changer - the person's face when they suddenly realise that you actually have their appalling actions noted is hilarious!) BC - isn't it just - this one has long term form though - MrEH worked with her 20 year ago and she used to run through support staff like nobodies business then too because nobody would work with her for long! Beanie - thank you! PiP - ahhh - possible outcomes. I am hoping that the decent thing can be negotiated and could get made redundant - otherwise realistically I will have to walk on the basis of constructive dismissal and then take things forward from there. I'd potentially end up better off on the latter, but the former would be a whole heap easier!
Savings interest - not really - as that feels as though it sort of defeats the object of the savings for the longer term.
Joedenise - it's B@ckm@rket I've been looking at - if they have the model I want at the right time I'll go there, otherwise it will be pay a bit more and go to the fruity people's refurbs direct I think.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Sorry to hear you are going through this @EssexHebridean it sounds like you are doing the right thing in keeping a diary, adding LWAP's suggestion is an excellent idea, both for your MH and evidence for your case 🤗Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Sorry to hear about the work situation EH, the all pervasive horribleness of that is incredibly destructive. I hope you can get it resolved quickly and as painlessly as possible.
I'm busy digging up bits of garden to move with us, I think it's really happening!4 -
EH - definitely keep a diary of all the praise you receive as well! I had my PMP today & when bosslady brought up a couple of people/situations that had been trying this past year, I was able to counter with no less than 2 dozen compliments and thank-you's I had kept on file! I routinely re-read the positive e-mails which get kept in a file as they give me a bolster on grim days.4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Sorry that work has been difficult. I love the idea of recording the positive comments though, I might steal that."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney3

Morning all - it’s interesting that I’m finding it quite tricky to actually bring myself to note the complimentary stuff…I although our other colleague was mightily impressed with some tracking down of information I did for him on Thursday - AND that in spite of time pressures I managed to get a couple of bits he really wanted to get out to the Court sorted for him too. I did note that Madam looked markedly unimpressed by this which was quite amusing!Ahh teaselMay it’s so exciting about your move! Not long to go now, either! We moved some plants with us as well - and aside from one Bay which has struggled everything has done reasonably well. There were two clumps of Pulmonaria which originally came from my great aunt’s garden best part of 20 years before which are looking happier here than they ever have before, in fact - I think the move did them good!A productive day yesterday
- free exercise via a walk with MrEH first thing that also took in stopping at the C0-0p to get his milk. Member price plus used a 50p off milk coupon and above for £1 off your shop to get that for free!
- also nabbed two bags of reduced price parsnips while there - earmarking those for making soup I think.
- lovely low Agile prices during the day were taken advantage of - Lunch rolls made and baked, two potato bakes assembled and baked, several loads of washing meaning we are now up to date with that, dishwasher ran through as well, and in fact thanks to the IP pot & basket was full enough to run again last month in more decently cheap slots, so up to date there too!- made use of one of the potato bakes for tea last night, and the other has gone into the freezer.- claimed my free veg item from Lil’s in the shape of a family pack of mushrooms - I would have bought mushrooms anyway so that was a good use of it. I’ve earned the next level up now too but probably won’t bother using it as we wouldn’t normally really buy drinks like that.- all washing went outside and pretty much everything came in dry - the bathmat was still distinctly soggy, and there were traces I’d dampness in a couple of towels, but everything else dried and is now folded and away
- warm enough during the day that the heating didn’t need to kick in at all in the evening, and hasn’t taken much at all to get the house up to temperature this morning either.- banks are checked and all OK - the joint account surplus is a little lower than usual this month but we’ve paid a few bits out of it rather than taking them from elsewhere so we’re aware of why. We will be fine for making the mortgage OP anyway, with a little extra available too.Right now- I think it is breakfast time here - there is a nice sourdough loaf just begging to be sliced into for toast!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
