I decided to do the test, The results were clearly I'm not fit for work (lifelong conditions), well over the 15 points  but would now only be in the LCW group.
I would have less money and would have to prepare for work,
So they would have taken money from me and used it  to "train" me in work that I will never do. :s

It is a useful link so thanks for that as it is a good run through for anyone wondering what the most severe changes consulted on would result in. Caveat of course the elephant in the room is the quality of assessment which any accurate classification significantly relies on. Personally I've been classified with LCWRA due to the substantial risk if found capable of Work Related Activity until the last curtailed assessment where it was inability to complete 2 personal sequential actions... so really up in air frankly. I'm still of view these proposed changes might get watered down or run out of parliamentary possibility with election looming... and if they do not I suspect we'll see claimants improving ability to get awarded LCWRA (or LCW) in ways or on points previously they'd not and indeed this seems a key basis for the current argument they have to make changes in that over time claimants have been getting better at getting more severe disablement classification. In a year's time if not sooner we'll effectively be heading into a general election campaign and so political turbulence is coming. We'll see I guess what comes out in the wash and usually a pretty useless thing to say but I hope people do not worry too much unless and until there comes a time there is real cause to.

The EHRC (Equality and Human Rights Commission) has written to the DWP minister this week with their concerns on the lack of time for the consultation and lack of published analysis regarding those potentially impacted by proposed changes. The below link is headline to what they have said in their letter and includes link to the letter.

    Thanks
It looks like they deleted the first link but forgot about another link,  as they have removed the link to the letter at the bottom of the article, all very strange.

Ok folks.... Today we had the Chancellor's Autumn statement. This covered the proposed changes to the Work Capability Assessment and surrounding issues of helping/getting disabled and sick people into work albeit in the typical headline format of a budget statement. Importantly the announcements today align with and are announced at the same time as the outcome for the consultation this thread is about. In other words you can take today's Autumn statement and directly associate it with the following link which in various formats released today is the Consultation outcome including background, feedback and what the government intends to implement.

A quick appraisal is that they are proceeding with some but not all proposed changes in the consultation. Perhaps unexpectedly also there seems to be a possibility that many existing claimants with LCWRA will never face a Work Capability Assessment again unless there is a special reason to re-assess them. I am though still digesting exactly what all this means. Changes as previously advised not until earliest 2025 (by which time we will have had a general election!)

The above can be understood in conjunction with the government's press release which it may be better to read first:
