Ongoing ISA transfer saga....

So...I initiated a transfer from Virgin to Vanguard a year ago...still no joy.
They are both blaming each other. Virgin says it sent a valuation in September 2022, Vanguard says they accepted the valuation in September 2022, but Virgin says they didn't receive the acceptance until July 2023 and sent off a cheque straight away. Unfortunately this cheque had the wrong account number on it, so Vanguard sent it back. As of August 10th 2023, Virgin said they hadn't received the cheque back. Then I went on holiday.....I've just phoned Virgin who said they reissued the cheque last week. Fingers crossed.....this week it may actually happen.
I've made a complaint with Virgin and threatened to write to the Financial Ombudsman. Wishing I just withdrew the money myself in the first place.
Have I won the longest ISA transfer??

Possibly, both those providers crop up regularly in threads about transfer issues.Tiggypud said:So...I initiated a transfer from Virgin to Vanguard a year ago...still no joy.
