Every good wish possible being thrown towards Harper, gently of course.
Tis twot. No more flying here today and I've cancelled meeting with friends. Reading a new book instead.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Spam first day at secondary ended early when someone called in with a bomb scare..Moomin had a call from drs telling her she has PCOS while she was sat holding another womans baby.. not told gently either.DD1 has had loads of calls from above school saying Spams shoes are not polishable.. they are black leather Clarks shoes, on a child with additional needs.. if they wanted them to have dress shoes why do they not say that? .. But anyway.. reasonable adjustments will cover that.Fabian has no school until the 11th because they are transfering from one building to another and aren't moved over yet.. how hard can it be to move a bunch of table and books?
Twinkles glasses are ready so we are going there next.
AND.. I have to somehow get to the hospital to discuss Harpers medical issues..
.. AND we are hoping Squeaks extra additional needs will be sorted by tomorrow.
I have loaded the DW and fed children.. My brain is fuzzed.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8 -
Prayers for Harper and EC xx, and coping vibes for Moomin x
I have walked Rosie, cooked a meal, WULTD, brought in the washing to FUPA later, and arranged a pub lunch with my DH and L and her DH tomorrow. DH went to his orthopaedic check-up and was told that he needs to do more exercise - no surprises there! He has now gone out to play 009 trains. I shall attempt to get the computer instructions written up this evening, and I need to empty all the rubbish bins.
I hope I shall sleep well tonight. You too xxx7 -
Sending love, strength and prayers to Harper, EC and Moomin xx

Fish cooked for tea, packed lunches made for tomorrow, WUDUPA.Absolutely wiped out now, alarm set for 5am, I’ll check in tomorrow morning. Take care all xx9 -

Sorted out all I need for tomorrow's aquathlon.
One load washing done, hung out, brought in dry. Put away.
Various miscellaneous pottering and fluttering.
Booked slot for the tip tomorrow, also booked car in for service wash as it isn't far from the tip.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -

posivibes for Harper et al
much grass decluttered from overgrown veg plot…the rot set in in 2016 when i was spending most of my weekends at my sister’s, then i cba…DD helped. pulled by hand because it is infested with little frogs and froglets. More to do but a good start made. Lots of washingbline dried and a hand knit hand washed…and i have ANOTHER baby cardi to knit, so a pink one almost finished, then a pink one then a mystery (for now)
Good luck in Wales NattyDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all, special hugs sent to Harper, EC, and Moomin.
The "fun" continues with the hay making. Yesterday the other wheel on the tedder, got a flat tyre. Had to lift it with the tractor jack, on soft ground, to remove and fix it. Then OH, rowed the hay up. (Pile it up in long rows, for the bailer.) Not very successful, it's in rows, but too many, too close together, and lots of stray hay in between. Two hours, last night, another one, so far today, rowing by hand. Basically around an acre and a half to rake by hand! Needs finishing before 4 o clock, bailer man coming then. Also at some point today or tomorrow, I need to repair the plastic on one corner of the polytunnel. It got hit by the tedder! At least we cut ours by machine. I know a couple locally, who hand scythe their hay!
DW nearly done its first run, needs reloading. Table filled with beans, need to do eggs. Plaster replaced on blister on thumb, from raking, only one so far this year. Sleeves for baby cardigan finished, still needs neck band and sewing up. OH putting the car back together, he's on school run later. The front panel/bumper bar thing was badly broken, and held on with tie wraps. Now been replaced.
Still to do. DW. Half the field. Watering in tunnel. Think about tea, are we feeding the DGC? Wrap present for DGS1, for tomorrow. That's enough to be getting on with. Hugs to all, mumtoomany.xxxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.8 -
Harper is a bit better today and oxygen levels are better so the support is less.. EC is doing good just sore and tired.. she had a mango sized cyst on her ovary so the ovary was removed as well after the baby. Everyone is mending.
Moomin hasn't surfaced yet but hopefully she will feel a bit better today having slept.
School return went ok.. Squeak got on the bus without a fuss.. Pixie and Twinkle were ushered in swiftly and I legged it.. Dot did not have a member of support staff to take her in and it took an hour for me to get in touch with anyone at the school despite tham only having 2 years in to make sure she had gone to class as I handed her off to a girl from primary school.. it is not her responsibility but there was not a single member of staff to be seen!New lunchbag found for Pixie and her new waterbottle.New lunchbag ordered for Squeak.. she is using the spare as hers is mouldy inside despite being washed and thoroughly dried.. *fling*The others have neoprene ones I can wash easily and quickly so they are good.waiting for delivery of 2 pairs of tap and 1 pair of ballet shoes.. they are all coming separately.. but I hope they are here for Saturday.I need to sort the swimming bag and dance bags and PE bags..
WMDWname labels on Squeaks new stuff which I eventually found..sew up a cardy for Harper and then I might do some knitting..this is an 8 week term so I Ihae loads of time to get the house vaguely in order and will be roping in DD2, GF and everyone else in to do their bit.
I need to check the pink emulsion so I can paint Harpers room before they come home.
