Pay As You Go Refund
I'm leaving O2 to go to Lebara but I'm confused as to what happens to my credit. According to some boffins on the O2 forum, you lose the credit - I'm loathe to argue with forum experts but the following info is on O2's leaving page: https://www.o2.co.uk/help/account-and-billing/leaving-o2
The forum experts decree that this only applies to people moving to a different contract within O2.
Who's right?

There's a free phone number at the bottom of that O2 answer. Give them a call........1

When I received my PAC from O2 for a PAYG SIM, I received a text advising that I could apply for a refund of the remaining balance.
In the event, as it was only £10, I donated it to cancer research via a text message.

You're not actually entitled to a refund of PAYG credit if you move provider, because there is no provision for it:If you get the option it's provider dependent. But there is no obligation.0

A number of providers have offered refunds of credit when they have made big price hikes or changes to t&c's, but again don't depend on it.0

You should be about to get a refund of your credit on port out under the European Electronic Communications Code0
